Donor Advised Grants

Many of our funds are donor advised, which means our donors recommend grants. In many cases, they have specific ideas about what organizations they support, but at other times they look to ACF for guidance.

We appreciate learning about what your nonprofit organization is doing. You may send us a one-page letter of inquiry, which we will keep on file. In the event that we know of a good match, we'll be in touch. With all grant recommendations, ACF retains the authority to approve or deny any requests.

Fund Spotlight:

Fans of cross-country

We all know cross-country skiing is popular in Alaska as evidenced by the number of funds supporting the winter sport. ACF manages funds for a variety of organizations, including the Nordic Ski Association, the Alaska Ski Educational Foundation, and the Alaska Cross-Country Ski Racer Development Fund. These funds and others help support the programs that continue to improve our athletes’ abilities for years to come.
