Grants & Community Projects

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Haines Borough, the Community Asset Building Initiative and the Rasmuson Foundation, the Chilkat Valley Community Foundation has made more than $23,000 in grants to local nonprofits and other eligible entities over the past two years.

Additionally the Call Family Fund, a fund of CVCF, has awarded almost $2,000 for grant projects in the community.

Between July 15 and September 30, 2011 the CVCF Grantmaking Committee will accept applications from organizations that serve the residents of the Chilkat Valley. Funding for projects during this cycle will range from $500 and $2,500.  A total of $12,000 is available for granting in 2011.
